Carson City AYSO Region 140 gets the U5 (Under 5 years of age) program under way this fall season.
The program is AYSO's answer to the growing number of requests to allow children younger than 4.5 years of age to play the recreational fall soccer season. Children 4 years of age prior to August 1st 2007 get to participate in a soccer fest program organized by AYSO Carson City and spear headed and coached by Jennifer Veneziano every weekend at Edmonds Fields in Carson City.
The program runs for two hours with two sessions of one hour each. The first session starts at 9:00 am and will count on the help of all the parents that wish to participate in their children's activities.
Jennifer has been the catalyst for this program offered for boys and girls. In this first year of the program, over 50 children have been registered to participate.
The expectations are high to have all children involved having fun and learning about soccer. Jennifer as the head coach will be running some drills while making it fun for the players and each session will culminate with the creation of teams that play a friendly match 3 v 3.
The games will be run under the watchful eye of the parents involved and promises to be as much fun for the parents as we expect it to be for the kids.
CarsonSoccer.com wishes to thank the AYSO volunteers and especially Jennifer Veneziano on behalf of all those kids that will learn about soccer thru her efforts.
Thank You Jennifer!
