WOLF PACK WINS!!! Finally
By John Chavez

The Wolf Pack got the monkey off of their backs by taking their first win of the season. They shut out
San Francisco at a game played on Sunday at Mackay Stadium by a score of 2-0.
With this win, the Pack improve to 1 win, 3 losses, and 1 tie. Now all they have to do is build on the momentum of Friday's tie vs.
Sacramento and the win vs.
San Francisco.
Of course
San Francisco is not having their best season this year and
Nevada was able to actually dominate the first half of the game (a nice change). The Pack scored via Devin Noe on the 23rd minute to give the Pack the lead on the first half for the first time this season.
The start of the second half saw a quick goal scored by Samantha Miller less than 1 minute into the second half to give the pack a 2-0 lead. One they would not surrender for the remaining time of the match.
Coach Marjanovic must feel a sense of relief after finally winning a game and not loosing one on Friday. As for her "interim" status, UNR still calls coach Marjanovic "interim coach" on their official website, with no news as to whether she will remain as the permanent head coach or if there are talks with other candidates for the job.
Nevada's next two games will be played in
Las Vegas for the Rebel Classic hosted by UNLV. Their first game is Friday at 11 a.m. vs.
Iowa
State and the second game on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. vs.
Washington
State
