The Wolf Pack ladies were able to overcome a deficit of 2 goals to end up with a tie 3-3 vs. the Sacramento Hornets on Friday night at Mackay Stadium. The fans present were treated to a match with two over times where the tie could not be resolved.

The pack once again managed to get themselves in trouble by falling behind in the first half of the match. Sacramento put the first goal of the match inside the Pack's net at the 5th minute with the second goal placed on the board at the 36th minute of the first half.

It was close to the end of the first half that Miranda Montejo reduced the margin by scoring at the 43rd minute the Pack's first goal to go into half time with a score of 2-1 in favor of Sacramento.

At the start of the second half Nevada once again seemed to be a different team. The Pack girls seem to always start clicking a little late in the matches they play. By the 67th minute Kristen Drummond scored the first goal of her Pack career to tie the game at 2.

Leah Larot of the Hornets beat goal keeper Cove at the 87th minute towards the far post to give Sacramento the lead once again.

Nevada did not give up and one minute before the end of the match Zmirak headed a ball into the Sacramento net to tie the game once again forcing the overtime with a 3-3 score.

With this tie Nevada (0-3-1) breaks the loosing streak and go into Sunday's match vs. San Francisco with high hopes.

San Francisco will visit Mackay Stadium on Sunday September 16 for a game to be played at  1 p.m.
