Adult Soccer League in Douglas County 2008

The Douglas County Parks & Recreation Division announced the Adult Open Soccer league for the spring 2008.

The games are every Sunday at Aspen Park in Gardnerville The Ranchos Area and will be played at 11, 1, & 3 PM every Sunday Starting March 9, 2008.

This is an Adult 18 and older division that will play 8 season games 9 vs. 9.

If you do not have a team already the rec division keeps a list of available players for the league. However, I personally put my name on that list two years ago and no one ever called me or anyone on the list. Last year I tried to put a team together by contacting the people on the list they had and it turned out to be the same list of people from two years ago that were never contacted.

If you are reading this and don't have a team, consider making a team yourself and participate.

The Douglas Recreation Division will also organize a co-ed soccer league later in the year. Again, for information on their leagues and programs check their web site.
